Although China has thus far been an insignificant actor, recent statements by the Chinese ambassador, alongside Beijing’s contribution to the Saudi Arabia-Iran normalization deal, underscore the need for a new examination of China’s stance on the Cyprus Problem, its underlying interests, and the potential avenues through which it might engage.”
